"When I first decided to become a realtor I thought it was the perfect fit, setting my own hours and working when I wanted to- boy was I wrong!

A good realtor has to adapt, and work when your clients need you to work; Now over 21 years later I have continuously adapted and love my job.

I have to thank Tommy Garten for my first opportunity. I worked at Greenways Real Estate for 13 years, learning a lot, before joining Teenie Kegley, a very special lady, at B.A. Rupert Real Estate where I was treated like family.

​

After 19 years I decided it was time to branch out on my own, and that's when I started           Mountain River Realty.

​

I am a 1978 graduate of Covington High School, also attending DLSCC and Radford University.

I attend the McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church, where I serve as an elder. I am also a member of Falling Spring Ruritan Club where I have held various positions, and in 2019 I was Rockbridge Highlands Realtor of the year. 

In my spare time I love to travel, especially to the beach, and I enjoy spending time with family & friends. My 5 grandchildren especially keep me busy watching their ball games and dancing."
